10 years ago this Summer I had major spinal surgery at @hspecialsurgery Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. The department that conducted my procedure was headed by Dr. Oheneba Boachie Adjei.

After several consultations at different hospitals on the East Coast I settled on Hospital for Special Surgery aka HSS because of their #1 status for Orthopedic surgeries in the country and this project, FOCOS by Dr. Boachie.

Next week, August 7th, I will be visiting and volunteering at the hospital FOCOS (Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine) in Ghana to bring the creative energy of On the Purple Couch LLC to the children at the hospital…
